The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) constitutes the European reference framework for the collection and use of personal data. Mastering its principles and the resulting obligations (information, consent, security, incident management among others) is a key issue for researchers in all disciplines.
This training course will present the general principles of the GDPR, the concrete obligations and will consider a series of situations encountered in research work. It will also call on the dmponline.be platform as a resource to support the development of a GDPR-compliant research protocol.
