Description

Practical session on machine learning, aimed at demonstrating how to combine multiple neuroimaging methods for diagnostic purposes.
A brief theoretical introduction will be followed by a practical step by step tutorial. The tutorial shows insights of programming convolutional neural networks (CNN) in Python at the example of Alzheimer diagnosis. In particular, techniques for combining different image modalities, such as fMRI and PET with other data, such as patient demographics, are presented.

The session is hosted by GIGA-consciousness and held by Andreas Schindele, PhD, researcher at Universitätsklinikum Augsburg (DE)

The seminar will take place on WebEx at 14:00 CEST, on October 26th, 2021.
